Lecturer in Pharmacology

**SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Contributing to the delivery of the Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacology components of the Perdana University - R.C.S.I. curriculum to students of Perdana University - R.C.S.I. School of Medicine, coordinating individual modules as required
- Developing, monitoring and supporting the Pharmacology programme within Junior Cycle (Semesters 1 to 3), and also within Intermediate and Senior Cycles by delivering lectures, tutorials, practical activities and learning support materials at the main and clinical campuses as required
- Contributing to planning and participation in undergraduate assessments in Pharmacology, including standard setting and grading of examinations, papers and projects in accordance with R.C.S.I. and N.U.I. policies and procedures at the main and clinical campuses as required
- Previous experience in the use of a Virtual Learning Environment/Learning Management System would be an advantage
- Ensuring that teaching and learning materials of all types are kept updated
- Maintaining adequate records to monitor student progress, achievement and attendance
- Advising undergraduate students and providing advocacy as appropriate
- Participating in and developing research activities, both personally and in support of undergraduate and postgraduate students, including the development of collaborative initiatives in the context of the strategic plans of Perdana University and R.C.S.I.

**GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Assisting the Dean, Deputy Dean, Cycle, Year and Discipline Leads in delivering the curriculum
- Attending Perdana University - R.C.S.I. School of Medicine Medical Faculty Board and other School and University committee meetings as required
- Implementing policies and decisions as determined by the Dean and the Perdana University - R.C.S.I. Medical Faculty Board and relevant Perdana University committees
- Supporting individual students by participating in Personal Mentor and Student Support systems
- Complying with Malaysian statutory legislation and Perdana University rules and requirements in furtherance of your own and general staff and student welfare and safety
- Representing the best interests of Perdana University and R.C.S.I. at all times
- Performing such other related duties as may be requested from time to time

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
