**Responsibilities**:

- As a Database Administrator, you will be responsible for administering, developing, testing, and demonstrating databases.
- You will perform various related database functions, including designing, implementing, and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery, and configuration management.
- Additionally, you will install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for the modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems.
- Intermediate proficiency in Database Administration is required.
- Intermediate level of proficiency in Oracle Applications System Administration is recommended.
- Optimize database performance to ensure efficient and effective data storage and retrieval
- Implement security measures to safeguard database systems from unauthorized access

troubleshoot and resolve database issues promptly to minimize downtime.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month

**Experience**:

- Oracle: 1 year (preferred)
- Database Admin: 1 year (preferred)
- DBMS: 1 year (preferred)
