Perform monthly and quarterly closing, accrual accounting
Prepare and post accounting journals
Preparation of supporting schedules for period end closing
Corporate and Statutory Compliance reporting
Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations and Fluctuation analysis
Support Malaysian Tax Compliance: Corporate Tax, WHT and etc
Assist in problem solving and advice on accounting and business processes.
Coordinate the prompt and accurate recording of financial transactions (e.g. ledger entries, journal postings, etc.) in line with relevant requirements, policies and procedures.
Support the delivery of timely and accurate statutory accounts and tax analyses through liaison with the Statutory Tax teams and external auditors if required.
Monitor open and overdue items and communicate and follow-up accordingly with the appropriate staff.
Support preparation of documents and adjustments for monthly, quarterly and year-end close

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

Ability to evaluate, prioritize, and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion
Ability to recommend process changes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the financial processes
Strong verbal and written communication skills, to effectively present to peers and management.

Experience/Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and equivalent
Minimum of 3 - 4 years of experience in general and/or financial accounting(preferably in manufacturing industry).

**Salary**: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
