**Job Requirements**
- Bachelor’s Degree in **Accounting or Finance**.
- **Professional qualification** (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is an added advantage.
- **3-5 years** of working experience, preferably in an **accounting firm** and/or **multinational company (MNC)**.
- Good knowledge of **Accounting Standards** and **Tax Regulations** (including **Transfer Pricing** and **Withholding Tax**) will be an added advantage.
- Excellent **communication skills**, both written and verbal.

- **Result-oriented, self-motivated, agile, and a strong team player**.
- Strong **time management** and **organizational skills**.
- Experience with **SAP-ERP**, **MS Office** (Excel, PowerPoint), **Power BI**, **VBA**, and **Macros** will be an advantage.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage **daily general accounting activities** and ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Perform **month-end closing activities**, prepare analyses and commentaries for **regional financial statement reviews**.
- Prepare and maintain **general ledger accounts**, journal entries, **monthly account reconciliations**, and investigate reconciling items.
- Ensure **compliance with accounting standards and regulations** (e.g., **U.S. GAAP**, **SOX**, internal controls, and local statutory requirements).
- Lead and drive **US GAAP** and **statutory accounting compliance**; conversant in **IFRS** and **US GAAP** with understanding of their impact on local accounting.
- Collaborate with **cross-functional departments** such as **HR, Marketing, Production, Procurement, and Logistics**.
- Liaise with **external parties** including **Company Secretary, Tax Agent, Auditor, and Inland Revenue Board (IRB)**.
- Prepare **yearly audit schedules** and **tax computations**.
- Maintain and monitor **Fixed Asset Register** and perform regular **Fixed Asset Sighting Exercises**.
- Prepare **CAPEX proposals** for headquarters approval.
- Conduct **product costing** and **valuation reviews**.
- Assist in **annual budget preparation** and financial planning.
- Participate in or lead **projects, process improvement initiatives**, and **automation efforts**, as well as perform **ad hoc assignments** as required.

Pay: RM4,800.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
