**Job Summary**

The **Interior Designer** is responsible for the full spectrum of design-related tasks across multiple project stages—from conceptualization to completion. This role involves active collaboration with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver creative, high-quality, and technically sound design solutions.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead and contribute to space planning, conceptual design, and design development phases.
- Collaborate with the design team to establish design direction and produce innovative solutions aligned with client needs and project goals.
- Conduct site analysis, inventory assessments, and develop presentation materials including mood boards and PowerPoint decks.
- Produce 2D and 3D renderings or artist impressions as required to communicate design intent.
- Serve as the primary point of contact during design phases; attend meetings, present design concepts, and effectively “sell” ideas to clients.
- Participate in ongoing correspondence with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Attend and contribute to weekly client, consultant, and trade contractor meetings upon project commencement.
- Translate design concepts into detailed technical drawings and construction documents.
- Oversee and review tender and construction drawing packages developed by the design team.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of all drawings with relevant regulations and client requirements.
- Obtain final approvals and sign-offs on all drawings and material selections.
- Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and O&M manuals where applicable.
- Support tender processes and participate in site observations to ensure adherence to design intent.
- Liaise with quantity surveyors and contractors on costing, detailing, and design clarification.
- Coordinate with building management, architects, and consultants to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and building codes.
- Monitor project progress to ensure timely and on-budget delivery, aligned with client expectations.
- Uphold and enhance internal design standards and ensure consistency across projects.
- Conduct quality control reviews on design output and provide guidance to junior designers.
- Maintain and update the material and sample library to support design development.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to source materials, obtain quotations, and evaluate finishes.
- Ensure proposed materials meet design, budget, and quality requirements.
- Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Design Manager.
- Support the team with general design-related administrative tasks and documentation as needed.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 to 4 years of professional experience in interior design, with exposure to commercial and corporate offices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead design concepts and manage end-to-end project delivery—from ideation through construction.
- A compelling portfolio showcasing design excellence across medium to large-scale interior design projects.
- Strong knowledge of interior design principles including space planning, materials, finishes, lighting, and furniture specifications.
- Skilled in client communication and presentations, with confidence in managing client relationships and design reviews.
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including contractors, consultants, and suppliers.
- Competent in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), and presentation tools.
- Understanding of local codes, regulations, and authority submission requirements.
- Excellent time management, with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple project deadlines.
