**Key Role**:

- Responsible to source and purchase foods & general items from registered or new vendors.
- Handling on tender process for food & general item.
- Negotiating the best price with suppliers and conduct comparative analysis.
- Assign all the purchase requisition (PR) & generate Purchase order (PO) thru system.
- To recommend alternative products for cost efficient & quality improvement.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods & service.
- Responsible for the recording of invoices in the accounting system and handling payment process to ensure payment can release on time.
- Participates in negotiations for service contract.
- Identifies and develops reliable sources of supply.
- Keeps abreast of the marketplace as to innovation and value
- Processes purchase requests from departments
- Obtains competitive quotations and bids
- Ensure physical stock take is conducted as scheduled
- Place approved orders according to marketlist
- Ensures products and resources are assigned to the appropriate department and billed accordingly

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Materials, Purchasing Management or related field
- 1 years related experience in a Hotel purchasing environment
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Materials Control
- Experience in marketlist

**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
