Smartnexora is hosting an after-school Coding Club called CIY Club (developed by ScopeIT Education, Australia) for children aged 7 and above to come together to learn, train and master the essential digital skill in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM). The club focuses on teaching the digital skills through Coding, 3D Design & Printing, Electronics, Robotics, App & Web Development, Animation, Game Creation and Digital Safety.

The Educator / Instructor at CIY Club will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective coding instruction to the children. This role requires a strong passion in both information technology and education, with the focus on nurturing young minds to explore and excel in digital skill. The Educator / Instructor will work closely with students, parents, and the CIY team to deliver the children with a positive and enriching learning experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and implement digital curriculum tailored to the learning needs of children.
- Facilitate hands-on in digital learning sessions, workshops, and projects that encourage creativity and problem-solving.
- Assess and monitor each child’s progress, providing tailored feedback and support to ensure their individual growth.
- Collaborate with other instructor and staff to create a cohesive and dynamic learning environment.
- Stay updated on the latest coding tools, trends, and best practices in children education.
- Organize and participate in coding events, competitions, and showcases.

**What we're looking for**
- Well-spoken and professionally presentable as an educator.
- Experience engaging with children in formal settings is an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of computer technology, mathematics, and science is desirable.
- Eagerness to learn and grow independently in technology (training and guidance will be provided).
- Willingness to travel within Johor Bahru and surrounding areas for off-site coaching.
- Passionate about education and working with children.
- Demonstrates proactive self-management and initiative.
- Punctual, responsible, and reliable.
- Ability to speak additional local languages is an advantage.
