**RESPONSIBILITIES**

a) Negotiate and manage purchase orders for mechanical, electrical and electronic commodities, as well as items fabricate per engineering specifications.

b) Manage the New Product Introduction (NPI) process for your categories - ensuring product is available and right first time to achieve successful machine launches

c) Manage PO and payment processing, ensuring that purchase orders are issued with the correct shipping/delivery term and pricing.

d) Manage and analyze supplier OTD and keep in constant communication with suppliers to help improve delivery.

e) Managing the supply, storage, transport and distribution of equipment, materials and goods used and produced by us

f) Managing inventories and maintaining updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.

g) Maintaining and updating supplier information.

h) Minimise risk to continuity of supply by carrying out supplier risk assessments for the portfolio’s suppliers and implementing corrective actions as required.

i) Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

j) Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and minimize waste.

k) Maintain system accuracy, including lead-time, pricing, current supplier information, current purchase order data, etc;
l) Coordinate communication between QA, engineering, and suppliers.

m) Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

n) An understanding of production and manufacturing processes.

o) Will working with overseas suppliers including China.

**EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREMENT**

a) Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

b) Required language(s): English and Mandarin (As you need to communicate with mandarin-speaking suppliers).

c) Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.

d) Experience in vendor management and supplier relationship management.

e) Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

f) Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.

g) Excellent negotiation skills and ability to manage vendor relationships.

h) Proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.

i) Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
