Junior Building Technician maintenance

**Job Title: Hotel Building Electrical Technician (Fresh Graduate)**

**Job Purpose**:
**At AnCasa Hotel Kuala Lumpur, Junior Building Electrical Technician** is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting the hotel’s electrical systems and equipment. As a fresh graduate, this role offers hands-on experience in hotel maintenance, ensuring that the electrical systems are functioning efficiently and safely to support hotel operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Electrical System Maintenance**:

- Assist in the routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of the hotel’s electrical systems and equipment, including lighting, power outlets, switches, and circuits.
- Ensure that electrical panels, emergency power systems, and lighting systems are in good working order.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to prevent potential electrical issues.
- **Troubleshooting & Repairs**:

- Respond to electrical system failures or faults, diagnosing issues and performing necessary repairs under the supervision of senior technicians.
- Assist in identifying electrical problems and assist in resolving them as quickly and efficiently as possible to minimize disruption to hotel operations.
- **Electrical Installations**:

- Assist in the installation of new electrical systems or components (e.g., lighting, power outlets, generators) under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations and local electrical codes.
- **Safety & Compliance**:

- Adhere to safety protocols, local electrical codes, and hotel policies when working with electrical systems.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Participate in safety drills and meetings, ensuring you’re familiar with emergency procedures.
- **Support for Hotel Operations**:

- Assist in maintaining electrical systems for all hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, and meeting rooms.
- Support the operations of backup power systems, ensuring mínimal disruption during power outages.
- **Documentation & Reporting**:

- Keep accurate records of all electrical maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections.
- Report any major repairs or equipment failures to the Chief Engineer or Maintenance Manager.
- Maintain a log of inventory for electrical parts and materials used.
- **Learning and Development**:

- Participate in on-the-job training programs and technical workshops to improve your electrical skills and knowledge.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in electrical technology and safety procedures within the hospitality industry.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Fresh graduate with a degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
- **Experience**:

- No prior professional experience required, though any relevant internships or practical training during studies is a plus.
- **Skills**:

- Basic understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and electrical codes.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical issues.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to use electrical testing tools and equipment (e.g., multimeter, voltmeter).

**Working Conditions**:

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
