**About the Role**:
We are seeking a proactive and technically strong **Junior Conveyancing Lawyer** to join our new **Project Development Conveyancing Team**. This is a supporting role with growth potential, offering performance-based incentives, and partnership track opportunities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- support the **project development conveyancing division** of the Johor branch.
- Manage and handle end-to-end conveyancing transactions including SPA, loan documentation, and perfection of transfer/charge, especially for **housing development and commercial projects**.
- Liaise with developers, bankers, government authorities, and internal stakeholders.
- Advise and ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements under HDA, NLC, and related laws.
- support a small team of legal associates and clerks (initially 1-2 members).
- Prepare and review legal documents, due diligence reports, and contract vetting for development projects.
- Represent the firm in client meetings, site visits, and project briefings.
- Collaborate with KL HQ for reporting, SOP adherence, and compliance audit.

**Requirements**:

- **LL.B (Hons)** and **valid practising certificate** in Malaysia.
- Minimum 3 **years’ PQE in conveyancing**, with at least 2 years handling **developer project work**.
- Proven ability to independently handle files with minimum supervision.
- Strong knowledge of Housing Development Act, NLC, Strata Management Act, and related property laws.
- Ability to interact with developers, bankers, and consultants professionally.
- Excellent command of **English and Bahasa Malaysia** (Mandarin is an added advantage).

**Preferred Experience**:

- Worked in a **panel firm for property developers or banks**.
- Hands-on experience in **project SPA, loan, and end-financing documentation**.
- Familiarity with **APDL, DO/BP, and project approvals** is advantageous
