**Position Description**

We're looking for a multi-talented **Assember** to support our production team with the assembly of commercial air conditioners and keeps things in check amidst a whirlwind of fast-moving activities and company growth.

**Position Responsibilities**

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to the safe, efficient and effective execution of product assembly including;
- Quality inspection of products during assembly, ensuring products are built to specification and engineering standards
- Corrective action and repairs identified in production
- Identify parts and components as per bill of materials and drawings
- Pre-assembly of sheet metal enclosures using rivets and screws
- Cutting, installing and pinning of insulation as per drawings
- Installing main system components such as compressors, heat exchangers and fans
- Routing and clipping cable harnesses with the enclosures
- Final assembly of sheet metal enclosures using rivets and screws
- Cutting and installing gasket tapes
- Completing QA checks and documents
- Packing and wrapping for transportation
- Tools and equipment check and routine maintenance
- Support production and engineering with design changes and production improvements
- Support engineering with the research and development of prototypes
- Support the production team to achieve its targets and objectives
- Participate in stock takes when required
- Comply with OH&S regulations
- Action tasks according to project/maintenance schedules, procedures and standards.
- Seek continual improvement in manufacturing efficiency, productivity, quality, safety and 5S of the production lines.
- Train production operator - Trainee Operator

**Reporting Structure**

This position reports to the Production Supervisor.

**Position Requirements**
- Fresh Graduates are welcomed
- Able to use hand tools
- Reliable transport and license
- Basic knowledge in Lean Manufacturing
- Physically fit and healthy
- Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S
- Forklift license would be added advantageous.
- Good organization, communication and general inter-personal skills.
- Proficient in reading and writing English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Able to work overtime and long hours.
- Possess professional maturity, takes personal responsibility/accountability and is a team player.
