Children's Hospice Nurse

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Patient Care**: Deliver high-quality nursing care to children with life-limiting conditions, including symptom management, medication administration, and physical assessments.
- **Family Support**: Provide emotional and psychological support to families, addressing their concerns and needs throughout the care journey.
- **Care Planning**: Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that reflect the child's and family’s goals.
- **Education**: Educate families and caregivers about palliative care, disease processes, and available resources to ensure informed decision-making.
- **Advocacy**: Advocate for the needs and preferences of the child and family, ensuring their voices are heard in all aspects of care.
- **Coordination**: Work with community resources, healthcare providers, and support services to facilitate continuity of care.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
**Qualifications**:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in Malaysia.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in paediatric or hospice or palliative care settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize and connect with children and families.
- Knowledge of pediatric palliative care principles and practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Have driving license and own car transport.
