Front Office Assistant

**Job Summary**
Controls all rooms, social centre facilities and banquet and prepares necessary bills.
**Specific of the Job**
1. Greet all members and guests politely.
2. Deal with telephone inquiries and takes telephone messages.
3. Passes telephone calls to the relevant Departments
4. Ensure that their respective work areas are neat, tidy and presentable to guests.
5. Receive members and guests and ascertain their requirements.
6. Answer members’ and guests’ queries or directs them to the relevant department.
7. Controls hotel room reservations.
8. Keep accounts, prepare bills and receive payments.
9. Adopt acceptable codes of conduct and behavior in the front desk.
10. Carry out duties with speed and accuracy.
11. Prohibited from asking for tips.
12. Keep updated on the latest events and promotions going on especially in the resort in order to answer queries.
13. Any other duties that may be assigned by the Front Office Manager and Hotel Manager from time to time.
**For Social Centre**
- Man the children’s club and/or library.
- Ensure that the title for Cineplex show is put up.
- Prepare the Events Board for display and information.
**For Anugraha**
- Coordinate the distribution of newspapers in the morning
- Make wake-up calls whenever required.
Any other duties that may be assigned by the Restaurant & Banquet Manager or F& B Executive from time to time.
**Salary**: From RM1,500.00 per month
