Aircond Technician

**What this job involves**:
**Greasing the wheels of day-to-day operations**
You will be involved in the overall upkeep of plant and facilities equipment to ensure smooth daily operations. To do this, you’ll need to regularly inspect all equipment rooms and other facilities and take note of any problems using the predefined checklists.

Daily routine inspection of Diakin VRV air-cond system and the remote monitoring i-Manager or related monitoring system. Attending to breakdowns promptly is key priority. To schedule rectification, work as soon as possible with available spare parts and tools. May require working overtime to complete urgent task.

Able to perform gas brazing work for replacing parts in the VRV air-cond Outdoor and Indoor parts.

Ensuring smooth day-to-day operation. You’ll also work closely with pretty much everyone across the board-from superiors to peers and subordinates.

**Being the front line for maintenance needs**
Our clients will come to you for equipment fixes, so you’ll be expected to be skilled in carrying out repairs. In every decision or action you will make, you’ll need to keep in mind that you follow local governmental rules and regulations to avoid any non-compliance and lead to legal issues.

**Other Accountabilities**:

- To trouble shoot electrical faults in DC voltage and Low Voltage AC system
- Ensure remote controllers and electrical installation are in good working order.
- Replace fused, fluorescent tubes, chokes, starter, fuses, etc when the need arises
- To do periodic preventive maintenance on Diakin VRV equipment’s
- To attend all breakdown promptly at all times
- Follow up with contractors to ensure rectification works are carried out and keep Supervisor informed of the progress of such works.
- Overall assist to Supervisor and Facilities Coordinator on any additional job that may be assigned from time to time.

**Certified and experienced**
Are you experienced to do Diakin VRV air-cond system? Able to perform gas welding on copper pipe, fittings and compressors? Have you worked in a facilities and maintenance role before? If yes, then you are who we’re looking for

**Good-natured and customer-oriented**
Can you clearly report issues and problems and provide clear instruction to repair bugs and malfunctions? To serve clients the best way possible, good communication skills—both written and spoken—will also be indispensable for this role. Able to speak and write in English and BM?

**Other requirements**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and with minimum supervision
- Willing to work on shifts/public holidays/weekends
