**Job Summary**:
Will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production machinery in the assigned department (Caster, Cold Rolling, Foil Mill, Finishing, or Roll Grinder). This role requires hands-on expertise in machine operation and a strong understanding of the aluminium production process. Will ensure efficient production flow, uphold quality standards, and contribute to maintenance efforts for smooth plant operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Machine Operation and Setup**:

- Set up, calibrate, and operate machines according to production specifications.
- Adjust settings for temperature, pressure, and speed to achieve required output quality.
- Monitor machinery throughout the shift to ensure optimal performance and address any inconsistencies.

**2. Process Monitoring and Quality Control**:

- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet industry standards and customer specifications.
- Use measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers) to verify thickness, flatness, and surface quality of processed aluminium.
- Document production metrics and report deviations to supervisors.

**3. Troubleshooting and Maintenance**:

- Diagnose minor mechanical issues and perform repairs or adjustments to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with maintenance technicians on scheduled preventive maintenance tasks.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, part replacements, and repairs performed.
- Engage in training sessions on new machinery and updated safety practices as needed.

**4. Collaboration and Reporting**:

- Work closely with team members, quality control, and maintenance departments to resolve issues quickly.
- Communicate production issues, quality concerns, or machine malfunctions to supervisors and relevant departments.
- Document daily production data, downtime occurrences, and other pertinent information for operational reports.

**Required Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Diploma in Industrial Machining or a related field.
- **Experience**: Prior experience in machine operation within a manufacturing or metal processing environment is preferred.
- **Technical Skills**: Familiarity with precision measurement tools, mechanical troubleshooting, and process controls.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
