Student Counselor

Responsibilities:

- Provide counseling and guidance session on areas covering academic, career, social factors such as family background and other student support services for challenged students.
- Conduct Guidance Period Lesson (GPL) for students.
- Prepare lesson plans and materials based on approved curriculum for the GPL session.
- Attend to student’s admission process such as interviews, intakes, registration and handling enquiries from parents.
- Conduct orientation sessions, assessments and involved in outreach activities.
- Submit regular status reports to management on counseling sessions held.

- Interview of new intake and to visit their homes if necessary, to clarify on certain matters.
- To coordinate with Bro. Director on Pastoral Visits to students’ home during the school holidays.
- To be involved in all PCU job related matters
- Other ad-hoc duties / functions assigned from time to time by the HOD or the Bro. Director.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelors Degree in counseling and a registered licensed counselor.
- Experience handling youth within age group of 16 to 20 years.
- Good communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia in addition to proficiency in Mandarin and Tamil.
- 2 - 4 years of working experience in similar capacity.

Pay: From RM2,000.00 per month
