React Native Developer

We are seeking a motivated and talented Junior Developer with a background in Computer Science and 1-2 years of hands-on experience in React Native and either of React JS or Mobile Application Development.

**Responsibilities**

1.Application Development
- Develop expertise in writing platform-specific code when necessary, understanding the nuances of iOS and Android development within the React Native codebase
- Integrate with backend services and APIs, ensuring seamless communication between the mobile app and server-side components
- Participate in troubleshooting efforts, collaborate with team members to find solutions to technical challenges and code reviews to learn from peers, share knowledge, and improve overall code quality
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of the codebase, architectural decisions, and development processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance

2.Project Planning and Management
- Working closely with team members (including QAs) to understand requirements and deliver high-quality features
- Review and analyze requirements, user’s stories for validity and feasibility and understand what needs to be design and develop or maintain
- Contributing to project planning and estimation
- Provide timely updates on project status and raise technical issues or roadblocks to Team Lead

3.Communication and Collaboration
- Collaborate and align with Team Lead on technical decisions, development lifecycle and project goals
- Collaborate with immediate team members and/or cross-functional teams, backend development team and other stakeholders to develop effective solution, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

4.Continuous Learning and Improvement
- Provide guidance and mentorship to associate developers, assisting in their professional

development and helping them navigate challenges
- Actively Identifying areas for learning and skill improvement
- Engage in on-the-job training and continuous learning to enhance React Native skills and stay updated on best practices and new developments in mobile app development, adapt to new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies as required by projects
- Stay updated with latest developments in React Native, best practises and mobile app developments

**Job Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent and possess in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with React Native framework, JavaScript, TypeScript and understanding of mobile development patterns and best practices
- Hands-on experience and proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, State Management (Redux, React Context API, Hooks), Component Lifecyle and asynchronous programming with understanding of RESTful APIs and data synchronization between mobile apps and backend systems
- Experience with popular Mobile Application Development frameworks (e.g., React Native, Native Android/iOS) OR Experience with popular JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React Native and React JS)
- Familiarity with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and responsive design
- Knowledge of native mobile development for iOS and Android (Xcode, Objective-C/Swift, Java/Kotlin) and experience in integrating React Native components with native modules
- Basic knowledge on the usage of Cloudbee’s Feature Flags, New Relic’s Reporting tool and Charles Proxy (web proxy tool to monitor, inspect and manipulate traffic between computer, mobile device and Internet)
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment as well as familiarity with GIT in version controlling, branching strategies and collaborative workflows
- Experience with tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, SonarQube, Fortify, JIRA will be beneficial
- Familiar with Agile / Scrum development methodologies and its ceremonies
- Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest trends in mobile development
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
- Good communication and collaboration skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team member effectively with the ability to provide constructive feedback

**Salary**: Up to RM8,000.00 per month
