Our client, a dynamic renovation contractor with a specialized focus on electrical and general contracting works, is seeking a **Quantity Surveyor** to support the commercial and contractual management of their renovation and M&E projects.

**Job Overview**:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will take ownership of cost estimation, tendering, procurement, and ongoing cost control for diverse renovation and M&E works. You’ll work closely with the Company Owner and Project Manager to ensure project profitability, monitor budgets, and manage subcontractors while maintaining tight control over project documentation and site progress.

**Key Responsibilities (Site visits required)**:

- Prepare detailed cost estimates and quantity take-offs for electrical and building works
- Assist in preparing and submitting tender documents, sourcing competitive quotes
- Manage procurement and subcontractor agreements with attention to scope and cost
- Monitor and report on project budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities
- Conduct site visits to verify progress and validate quantities for claims
- Administer contracts, process variations, and support claim preparation
- Maintain organized documentation and prepare interim valuations and final accounts
- Communicate closely with clients, suppliers, and internal site teams

**What We’re Looking For**:

- 1-4 years of experience in quantity surveying within a contractor environment
- Strong exposure to both M&E and general construction works is a plus
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Fresh graduates with strong internship experience will be considered for junior roles
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel and able to read construction drawings (M&E, architectural, structural)
- Experience with AutoCAD is an advantage
- Excellent communication in **English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin** **(required to liaise with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and clients)**:

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented mindset
- Willingness to travel for site inspections

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
