Porter (Dispatch)

**1. Special responsibilities for Outpatient unit**
- Attend to incoming patients at nurse counter.
- Handle incoming and outgoing telephones call and direct calls to staff or relay messages as appropriate.
- Assist in the transporting patients to radiology, for admission to the wards /other departments/lobby.
- Assist in the collection of specimens e.g., urine, stool, sputum.
- Dispatch specimens to lab and collect the hard copy report.
- Collect stock supplies from pharmacy and store.
- Take and record vital signs and document in HIS.
- Clean and store equipment and instrument as directed.
- Check stock inventory and fixed asset on weekly basis.
- Perform cleaning of equipment as scheduled.
- Undertake any other tasks and assignments as directed by the superior or management e.g., assisting drive through COVID swab.
- Assist in getting feedback using patient feedback form from OPD patients.
- Assist in sending patients to lobby.

**2. Other Key responsibilities**
- Maintain the patient’s clinical records. Keep all information of patients in the strictest confidence.
- Attend and support education programs.
- Participate in hospital/community events.
- Participate in departmental initiative and project for continuous improvement.
- Responsible to achieve departmental KPI.
- Report any incident within stipulated time.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the superiors.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
