**JOB POSITION: BAR WAITER**
**DEPARTMENT: FOOD & BEVERAGES**
**LOCATION**:5 STAR HOTEL, PETALING JAYA**

**ACCOMMODATION: PROVIDED**
**SALARY: RM1,700 - RM2,000**

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Welcome and accompany guests to their tables.
- Provide menus and offer comprehensive information upon inquiry, such as details on portion sizes, ingredients, or potential allergens.
- Set up tables with linens, silverware, and glasses.
- Inform guests about daily specials and provide menu recommendations when requested.
- Recommend additional items as appropriate.
- Take precise food and beverage orders using a POS ordering system, order slips, or from memory.
- Verify customers' IDs to ensure compliance with age requirements for alcohol consumption.
- Communicate order specifics to the Kitchen Staff.
- Serve food and drinks promptly. Inspect dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and appearance, promptly reporting any issues.
- Arrange table settings and maintain a clean dining area.
- Present bills and collect payments.
- Clear tables of used plates, glasses, and silverware, transporting them to the kitchen for cleaning.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to discuss daily specials, menu changes, and reservation details.
- Adhere to all relevant health department regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests throughout their dining experience.

**JOB REQUIREMENT**:

- Demonstrated employment history as a Waiter or Waitress.
- Practical experience with cash registers and ordering systems (such as Revel POS or Toast POS).
- Proficiency in basic mathematics.
- Attentiveness and patience in dealing with customers.
- Strong presentation abilities.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, enabling success in fast-paced settings.
- Active listening and adept communication skills.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to work varied shifts.
- Willingness to serve alcohol drinks.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
