Responsibilities Database Installation and Configuration: Installing and configuring database management systems on Linux servers, ensuring proper settings for optimal performance. Security Management: Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect the database, including access controls, user permissions, and encryption. Performance Optimization: Monitoring and optimizing database performance on Linux, identifying and resolving bottlenecks for improved efficiency. Backup and Recovery: Developing and executing backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability in case of system failures. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Investigating and resolving database-related problems on Linux, ensuring smooth operation and mínimal downtime. Requirements - Knowledge in DB maintenance, optimization, troubleshooting, performance tuning, backup & restore. - Experience with configuration management and automation tools Ansible is desirable. - At least 4-6 years’ experience in Database Administration
