**Job Overview**:
Responsible for instrumentation & control systems engineering design, analysis and development of an assigned scope of work on a McDermott project. Work includes (but not limited to) P&ID development along with associated instrument index maintenance, instrument data sheet and calculation development, development of basic Integrated Control and Safety System (ICSS) deliverables and supplier document review of vendor packages.

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Prepare the development of key project deliverables, including (but not limited to) the following:

- Cause & Effect Diagrams
- Vessel Level Sketches
- Instrument Index, I/O List, Range, Alarm and Trip Summary (RATS)
- Instrument Data Sheets
- Instrument Calculations (i.e. Valves, Flowmeters, etc.)
- P&ID Development
- Participate in project reviews, including (but not limited to) the following:

- P&ID Reviews
- Development and support of vendor packages, including (but not limited to) the following:

- Create requisition packages for basic instrumentation
- Perform the review of supplier documents for basic instrumentation and mechanical packages
- Site support, including (but not limited to) the following:

- Provide technical support to Construction personnel for I&C engineering-related inquiries as needed

**Essential Qualifications and Education**:

- Accredited engineering degree may be required by specific regions
- Typically 2 - 6 years of I&C engineering experience
- Experience with Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI), InstruCalc, MS Office Suite including Excel and Word

**Preferred Qualifications and Education**:

- Prefer BSEE, BSCE or BSME degree
- Prefer experience at site during construction and commissioning
