Job Description: Junior Web Front-end Developer

Position Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in developing user-friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript under the guidance of senior developers.
- Collaborate with design teams to create visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces.
- Support in translating design mockups into functional web pages.
- Learn to optimize websites for speed and scalability.
- Assist in conducting testing and debugging to ensure smooth and error-free user experiences.
- Stay updated with the latest web development trends and technologies.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any front-end issues or bugs that arise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to process integration of front-end interfaces with backend systems.
- Communicate effectively with team members to understand project requirements and provide necessary support.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
- Familiarity with cross-browser compatibility and best practices.
- Basic understanding of front-end frameworks such as React, Bootstrap, or Vue.js.
- Experience in version control systems such as Git is a plus.
- Desire to learn and keep up with web accessibility standards and techniques.
- Basic understanding of user experience (UX) principles.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications, not compulsory:

- Experience in web-based booking and/or online course systems development is a plus.
- Familiarity with server-side programming languages such as Python, NodeJS.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices is a plus.
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Photoshop or Sketch is a plus.
- Exposure to Waterfall methodologies and Agile development methodologies.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: RM4,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 35 per week
