Chemist

1) Provide adequate training and supervision to junior technician and ensure the technician equipped with chemical analysis knowledge.
2) Prepare test solutions, compounds, and reagents to conduct test including testing and record test result.
3) Ensure all safety aspects of handling and storage of chemicals in the laboratory.
4) Identify potential hazards in the laboratory.
5) Source for suppliers and request for quotations for any chemical tests or reagent that need to purchased.
6) Compiling, calculation, tabulating, verifying and analyzing information or data and prepare test report whenever required.
7) Collect test items from customer whenever required.
8) Coordinates and communicates with customers in regards to the status of their test samples and test results.
9) Using relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether processes comply with laws, regulations or standard.
10) Ensure environment, health and safety aspects are maintained at all times.
BUILDTEST LABORATORY SDN. BHD. is an independent testing laboratory registered in 1996
