Draughtsman

**OBJECTIVE**

Seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman to contribute to our company. You will be responsible for creating precise and comprehensive drawings, ensuring alignment with project specifications and industry standards. As a draughtsman in this industry, you play a vital role in supporting the design and implementation of water treatment solutions.

**KEY DUTIES**

**_ Drafting & Design:_**
- Creating and altering construction sketches of various water treatment systems, encompassing process flow diagram, P&IDs, equipment layouts, and structural details.
- Work closely with engineers to transform project requirements into accurate visual representations.

**_Compliance & Standards:_**
- Verify that all drawings adhere to applicable legal requirements and procedures such as from DOE and DOSH.
- Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements.
- Stay informed about industry advancements to enhance drafting practices and methodologies.

**_Documentation:_**
- Maintain thorough documentation of all drafts, revisions, and design changes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in the preperation of technical manuals, reports, and documentation related to water treatment system designs.

**_Coordination & Communication:_**
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Project Engineers, Technical Engineers, and Project Manager, to ensure seamless communication.
- Participate in weekly project meetings to discuss and monthly meetings.

**_Quality Control:_**
- Conduct comprehensive quality checks on drafted documents to identify and rectify errors or inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with project team to address feedback and incorporate necessary revisions.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Diploma or Degree in Drafting, Technical or Engineering, or any related field.
- Minimum 2 years of work experience as a draughtsman, preferably in the water treatment or related industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Strong understanding of water treatment processes, equipment, and systems.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements for water treatment system designs.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to produce accurate and precise drawings.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Required language(s) : English, Bahasa Malaysia, or Chinese
