**Position Overview**
We are looking for a meticulous and organized **Accounts Clerk** to join MYND Furniture. This role involves handling daily accounting tasks, maintaining financial records, and supporting the finance team in ensuring accurate and efficient financial operations.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Accounts Payable and Receivable**:
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and in a timely manner.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and update the accounts receivable ledger.
- **Data Entry and Record Keeping**:
- Enter financial transactions into the accounting system (e.g., QNE).
- Maintain organized records of invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
- **Bank Reconciliation**:
- Assist in reconciling bank statements and identifying discrepancies.
- **Administrative Support**:
- Prepare basic financial reports as directed by the finance team.
- Handle inquiries from suppliers or customers regarding financial transactions.
- **Compliance and Accuracy**:
- Ensure all financial records are accurate and comply with company policies and local regulations.
- Assist in preparing documents for audits or financial reviews.
**Requirements**:
- **Education**: SPM or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- **Experience**:
- Prior experience in an accounting or clerical role is an advantage but not required.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QNE) is a plus.
- **Skills**:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
