Lab Chemist

Conduct R&D analysis for newly developed product
- Perform external customers samples
- Conversant with the operations/ technique of analytical instruments
- Attend external and internal training to upgrade personal competency
- Conduct periodic calibration on testing equipment
- Maintain and upkeep test equipment and instrument to ensure compliance with laboratory quality management and safety guidelines
- Conduct SQC analysis to detect abnormalities and carry out corrective action promptly
- Summarize analysis data and prepare test reports
- Validate and verify test methods
- Carry out investigation and carry out corrective actions for non-compliances
- Participate in Proficiency Test in order to improve competency
- Adhere to company HSE policies and requirements

**Requirements**:

- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in laboratory
- Familar with internation test methods such as ASTM, IP, ISO and JIS
- Experience in ISO 17025 accredited laboratory will be an addded advantage
- Experience in a chemical testing laboratories will be an added advantage
- Experience in and able to operate analytical laboratory instrument such as GC, HLPC and FTIR.
- A proactive team player but with the ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin
- Applicants must be willing to work in Banting
- Have knowledge of petroleum products and petroleum industry will be added advantage.

**Salary**: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
