Hostess

We are looking for a friendly and outgoing Restaurant Hostess who will be responsible for greeting and welcoming guests as they arrive. In this position, you will manage reservations, guide guests to their tables, and ensure a smooth flow of guests throughout the restaurant. You will also be expected to maintain a clean and organized reception area and assist with any guest inquiries.

THE JOBSCOPE
- Greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant and escort them to their tables
- Manage the waiting list and estimate wait times for guests
- Answer phone calls and make reservations
- Assist guests with menu recommendations and provide information about the restaurant
- Coordinate with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organized hostess stand and lobby area
- Assist with other tasks as needed, such as taking to-go orders or processing payments

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Previous work experience as a Host/Hostess or Waiter/Waitress
- Understanding of restaurant etiquette
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Experience in managing reservations
- Demonstrable customer-service skills
- Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar area
- Availability to work in shifts as needed
- Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma; hospitality certification is a plus

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
