1. provide administrative support to accountants, undertaking clerical tasks such as typing, filing, making phone calls, handling mail, and basic bookkeeping.
2. Working with spreadsheets, sales, and purchase ledgers and journals.
3. Preparing statutory accounts.
4. Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct.
5. Sorting out incoming and outgoing daily posts and answering any queries.
6. Managing petty cash transactions.
7. Controlling credit and chasing debt.
8. Reconciling finance accounts and direct debits.
