**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and company safety policies on-site.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and enforce safety procedures for all workers, subcontractors, and visitors on-site.
- Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety briefings to raise awareness and reinforce safety practices.
- Coordinate and assist with the development and implementation of risk assessments, safe work procedures, and emergency response plans.
- Investigate accidents and near misses, prepare reports, and recommend measures to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure that safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) are available and being used correctly.
- Provide safety training to new workers and maintain safety records and documentation.
- Liaise with the Project Manager to ensure that all safety requirements are met in accordance with the project schedule.
- Monitor the worksite to ensure that proper safety signage is displayed and that the work area remains hazard-free.
- Assist in emergency response drills and ensure the team is trained on emergency procedures.
- Conduct safety inductions for new employees, subcontractors, and visitors.

**Requirements**:

- **Education**: Minimum of a Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- **Experience**: At least 3 years of experience in a safety role, preferably within the construction industry.
- **Certifications**:

- CIDB Certification (Essential).
- Registered Safety Officer (RSO) certification or equivalent is mandatory.
- Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) certification (e.g., Green Card) is a must.
- First Aid and Fire Safety training is preferred.
- **Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, local safety regulations, and hazard identification.
- Ability to conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and accident investigations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for conducting safety training and toolbox talks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) for reporting and documentation.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence others to follow safety protocols.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
- **Language**: Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English (both written and spoken).
- **Other Requirements**:

- Willingness to travel and work on-site at different locations, as required.
- Proactive attitude toward ensuring a safe working environment.
- Valid driver’s license.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
