**Overview**

Our client is a reputable law firm in Malaysia.

**Responsibilities**

Technology & Commercial Transactions
- Draft, review, and negotiate technology and media transactions, licensing agreements, outsourcing contracts, e-commerce and e-payment arrangements, and distribution arrangements, etc.
- Advise on regulatory and contractual issues relating to emerging technologies and digital platforms.

Data Protection & Cybersecurity
- Advise multinational corporations and financial institutions on data privacy and protection requirements in Malaysia and cross-border.
- Assist clients in developing and implementing internal data protection policies, compliance programmes, data breach management plans, and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Provide training on data protection awareness and best practices.

Regulatory & Advisory
- Support clients on regulatory compliance across the technology, telecommunications, and financial services sectors.
- Provide strategic guidance on navigating evolving regulations affecting digital services, payments, and online business models.

Client Engagement
- Work closely with leading multinational clients on high-value, cross-border matters.
- Provide commercially pragmatic solutions that align legal advice with business objectives.

**Requirements**:

- Qualified lawyer with at least 3 years PQE, admitted to practice in Malaysia (or common law jurisdiction with relevant experience).
- Strong experience in technology, IP/IT, data privacy, and commercial contracts.
- Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks relating to technology, media, telecommunications, and financial services.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Pay: From RM9,000.00 per month
