Position : Front Office Associate
**Requirements**:
- SPM, STPM, Certificate or Diploma in Hotel Management and or with at least minimum 1-year working experience in a similar position
- Able to work on a shift basis, weekends and public holidays
- Trustworthy, reliable and honest, customer-oriented, team player
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, with minimum supervision
- Good interpersonal, communication, planning, and organizational skills
- Efficient, calm, and able to work under pressure
Scope of duties:
- Responsible for pre-registration and booking of hotel room reservations and complete room booking formalities
- Understand room status and alternatives to guests and offers assistance in making a choice
- Responsible to maintain accuracy and integrity of front office systems, guest registration, room allocation or assignment, reservation booking, and check-in and check-out including posting transactions via cash or card
- Responsible for determining guest reservation status and identifying guest's length or duration of stay
- Sound knowledge of Front Office standards, policies, and procedures
- Coordinate room status updates with relevant departments (Housekeeping, Maintenance, Security, Food & Beverage, etc) by notifications of all check-out, late check-out, early check-in, special requests, etc
- Deals with guests, clients, and business associates' complaints and issues; when needed and required
- Uses proper telephone, intercom, and walkie-talkie etiquette
- Interact professionally with guests, business associates, and other colleagues
- Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with guests, business associates, and other colleagues
- Effectively communicate while ensuring and maintaining effective and positive working relationships with other colleagues
- Responsible to perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision
- Responsibility in representing the hotel to guests throughout all stages of the guest’s stay
- Ensure the cleanliness of the front office reception and work area
- Be professional and ensure personal grooming and appearance and good personal hygiene
- Ensure timeliness, quality, and deadlines are met
- All other tasks and responsibilities as required and directed by superiors or the Management
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Contract
**Salary**: RM800.00 - RM1,200.00 per month
