Company Overview

The company was established in 1984, providing professional services for manufacturer of custom moulds, precision components rubber moulding and engineering works.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct studies to discover ways to improve the efficiency of production processes
- Oversee the hiring and training production personnel
- Ensure manufacturing and processing workers wear appropriate sanitary and protective gear to ensure health and safety
- Responsible for organizing and recording the arrangement of materials, goods, finished products and tooling and report to management on monthly basis
- To comply 5S for housekeeping and hygiene routine checking
- Monitor every aspect of production to ensure compliance with established procedures and standards
- Oversee the maintenance, repair and replacement of production equipment to ensure work operations run smoothly
- Oversee, monitor and record the lifespan of tooling
- Develop and promote new products to boost sales and increase generated returns
- Set production objectives and implement action plans to achieve sales targets
- Conduct forecast to identify potential risks and contingencies in a proposed project
- Prepare periodic reports to update Management
- Create work shifts to ensure round-the-clock food production operations
- Provide on job training of operators and coach existing operators
- Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials and products
- Ensure products and raw materials are stored properly at optimum conditions
- Carry out surveys to identify customer requirements and adjust to meet such needs
- Ensure all company regulations and government legislations are adhered to
- Attend to seminars, conferences and educational programs to update on job knowledge
- Verify rejects from line and daily reporting of production output
- Support quality department in internal and external analysis of quality issues
- Monitor manpower, assist production and support logistic department activities

**Requirements**:

- Posses a Bachelor’s Degree in Material Engineering or equivalent
- With 5-10 years’ experience in related field
- Posses excellent leadership, problem solving and interpersonal skills
- Required Languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (added advantage)
- Willing to work in Johor Bahru, Johor
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6pm; Saturday, 8.30am to 3pm
