Home Phonics Tutor

**Location**: Sunway Alam Suria, Shah Alam
**Student Age**: 7 years old
**Tutoring Format**: Face-to-face (at student’s home)
**Preferred Days**: Wednesdays or Thursdays
**Time**: 6:00 PM onwards
**Start Date**: As soon as available
**Commitment**: Weekly sessions

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct engaging, interactive phonics lessons tailored to a 7-year-old beginner reader.
- Focus on letter-sound recognition, blending, segmenting, and reading fluency.
- Prepare fun, age-appropriate learning materials and activities.
- Monitor and report student progress to parents weekly.
- Reinforce proper pronunciation and support vocabulary development.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in teaching phonics to young children (especially ages 5-8).
- Background in Early Childhood Education, TESL/TEFL, or similar preferred.
- Fluent in English with clear pronunciation.
- Patient, friendly, and able to build rapport with children.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Able to travel to Sunway Alam Suria for in-person sessions.

**Rate (Per Hour)**:

- **RM40 - RM80/hour (negotiable)**, depending on experience and qualifications.

- Shah Alam: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
