Machining Apprentice

Physical requirements: '¢ Ability to repetitively lift 50 pounds '¢ Ability to bend, reach & stoop with 25 '“50 pounds '¢ Ability to stand for prolonged periods '¢ Good eyesight required Key responsibilities: (Behaviors, Skills, Responsibilities) '¢ Positive team player '¢ Supports continuous improvement programs by actively leading CI teams '¢ Setup complex jobs, including tool and geometry offsets '¢ Design and build fixtures as required '¢ Follow traveler and quality system procedures '¢ Edit and troubleshoot new and old programs '¢ Read and interpret blueprints properly '¢ Inspect parts to verify blueprint requirements prior to first article '¢ Properly transfer edit and save CNC programs '¢ Quickly and accurately load and unload machines '¢ Make productive use of all time '¢ Run multiple machines when feasible and safe to do so '¢ Provide input to ensure Travelers are updated properly '¢ Able to train CNC Machinist I '¢ Perform all duties & functions in compliance with all company safety standards.
