Assistant Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation and accuracy of the full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing, including preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to support business planning and growth.
- Monitor compliance with local tax regulations, SST, statutory requirements, and corporate governance practices.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and relevant government authorities.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management for decision-making.
- Supervise, coach, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls and ensure data accuracy.
Job Requirements.
- Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field (Professional qualifications like ACCA/CPA preferred)
- Min. 5 years’ relevant experience (incl. 2 years in supervisory/assistant manager role)
- Strong knowledge in full set of accounts, financial reporting, budgeting & cash flow
- Familiar with local tax, SST, statutory compliance & corporate governance
- Proficient in accounting software (SQL/AutoCount) & MS Office (Excel)
- Advantage: Experience with government grants/incentives (SME Corp, MIDA, MARA, etc.)
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills for cross-team and external liaison
- Independent, deadline-driven, with high integrity & professionalism
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
