**JOB SUMMARY**

1) To perform all stages of linen processing including collecting, transporting, sorting, washing, drying, ironing, folding, storing and delivering of all linen used in the hospital.

2) Ensure the proper cleanliness and sanitation of all soiled linens to maintain the highest standards of patient satisfaction. Must follow the required procedures for handling, cleaning and disposing contaminated linen by adhering to infection control guidelines.

**KEY TASKS**

1) Replenishment of clean linen and collection of soiled linen.

2) Sort all linens and treat stains.

3) Take wet, clean linens and dried as directed.

4) Sort and fold or hang clean dried linens.

5) Pressing/Folding clean linens.

6) Maintain inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicates needs to superior.

7) Maintain all laundry equipment and inform superior as to any maintenance required.

8) Willing to work overtime if necessary.

8) Perform additional laundry services when necessary.

**GENERIC SKILLS**

1) Able to speak and communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

2) Posses teamwork spirit.

3) Requires physical strength to push laundry trolley and carry linen.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

1) Minimum SPM.

2) Preferably from Hotel/Hospitality/Housekeeping industry

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM1,500.00 - RM1,700.00 per month
