Educational Background

Minimum: 1 yr experience. College Graduate (eg: Quality Management, Production Management, and or related field for composites

Preferred: A diploma or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Quality Management, Manufacturing, Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, Chemical), or a related technical certification/apprenticeship program in composites or aircraft structures.

Technical Skills

Composite Knowledge: Proficiency in composite techniques such as hand lay-up, vacuum bagging, resin infusion, and autoclave curing.

Blueprint Interpretation: Ability to read and accurately interpret technical drawings, blueprints, process specifications, and work instructions.

Tool Proficiency: Experience with tools used for trimming, sanding, bonding, and drilling composite parts.

Inspection Tools: Familiarity with inspection tools and, for advanced roles, non-destructive testing (NDT) basics.

Documentation: Strong ability to complete repair documentation, inspection checklists, and maintain accurate records as per quality assurance standards (e.g., AS9100 for aerospace).

Math and Measurement: Good math, measurement, and data reporting skills.

Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy is often required. / Ms Excel, Powerpoint, Ms word.

Experience

Prior Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with composite materials, is often preferred or required (typically 1-3 years depending on the seniority of the role).

Quality Management Systems: Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and quality tools.

Attention to Detail: High attention to detail is crucial for catching defects and ensuring high quality standards.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address quality concerns and improve processes.

Communication: Preferably fluent in english/ malay. Good communication skills to coordinate with different teams and suppliers.

Physical Dexterity: The role may require physical stamina, manual dexterity, and the ability to work in various manufacturing environments.

Safety Consciousness: Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to handling chemicals and working in a manufacturing environment.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
