Banquet & Operation Manager - Event

The **Banquet & Operation Manager** is responsible for overseeing all aspects of banquet operations, ensuring seamless event execution, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and execute banquet events, including weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings.
Supervise banquet staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs, ensuring all requirements are met.
Work closely with the culinary team to ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
Oversee the setup of banquet halls, including seating arrangements, décor, and audiovisual requirements.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Manage banquet budgets, inventory, and supply orders.
Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and resolve complaints promptly.
Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and improve future events.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure seamless event execution.
Maintain a high level of customer service to enhance guest satisfaction and repeat business.
**Requirements**:
Proven experience as a Banquet Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality or events industry.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
Knowledge of food and beverage operations, catering standards, and hospitality best practices.
Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience managing large-scale events.
Certification in food safety and hygiene.
Strong financial acumen for budget management and cost control.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
Fast-paced environment with frequent standing and walking.
Interaction with clients, vendors, and internal teams in a high-energy setting.
