**Occupational Therapist (Based in Singapore)**

A healthcare service provider specializing in rehabilitation and therapy services is seeking a dedicated **Occupational Therapist** to join their team. The organization supports patients of all ages in regaining independence and improving their quality of life through customized therapy programs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assess clients’ physical, mental, and developmental conditions
- Evaluate ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Conduct interviews, observations, and standardized assessments
- Develop and implement personalized therapy plans
- Set functional goals aimed at regaining client independence
- Design therapeutic activities to improve motor skills, cognition, and self-care
- Provide rehabilitation therapy sessions
- Assist clients in re-learning essential life tasks (e.g., dressing, eating, writing)
- Recommend and train clients in using assistive devices or environmental modifications
- Offer support to children with conditions like autism, ADHD, and sensory disorders
- Help elderly clients maintain independence and prevent falls
- Maintain thorough documentation of treatment, progress, and updates
- Collaborate with physiotherapists, speech therapists, psychologists, and caregivers
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and family education sessions

**Client Types**:

- Children with developmental or sensory integration challenges
- Adults recovering from stroke, injury, or surgery
- Elderly individuals managing arthritis, dementia, or mobility issues
- Individuals with mental health conditions (e.g., depression, schizophrenia)

**Key Skills & Requirements**:

- Strong analytical and observational abilities
- Creativity in therapeutic program design
- High levels of patience, empathy, and communication skills
- Familiarity with adaptive tools and therapy methods
- Capable of working in multidisciplinary teams and maintaining clear documentation

**Work Environment**:

- Hospital settings such as rehabilitation, neurology, or orthopedic ward

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
