**IT Business Analyst - Consultant**

Business Analyst (BA) is responsible to perform business analysis tasks which enabling change in the company by defining needs, recommending solutions and delivering values to stakeholders. BAs also perform elicitation on the actual needs from stakeholders, analyze the design and solution, and facilitate stakeholder collaboration. Often, BAs bridge the gap between the business users and the technology solution providers such as vendors, infrastructure team, and development team.

**Requirement / Qualification**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance and Investment or equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years working experience in the related field and experienced in data analytics is required for this position.
- Good industry knowledge in Investment, Unit Trust, Fund Management, Investment domain and substantial Finance & Accounting concepts.
- Familiar with software development methodology and knowledge of business solution processes.
- Strong stakeholder management ability in handling a wide range of stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset and conceptual thinking skills.
- Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Words and SQL.
- Understand data warehouse, data mart, and data mapping activities.
- Experience in Business Intelligence (BI) from data collection, analysis, and visualization.
- Excellent in written and communication skills.
- Extensive process modelling experience including Visio diagram.
- Possess problem-solving skills.
- Excellent documentation & communications skills.
- High commitment level and able to work extra miles.
- Review, gather, consolidate, and analyze requirements for investment systems and investment data warehouse.
- Engage with business units and stakeholders to define scope of effort, work deliverables, data requirements and project plans.
- Plan, design, develop, and launch efficient business and operations systems in support of business organizational functions and business processes.
- Assist in ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
- Understands the significance of the data, assures accuracy and timeliness of the substance reported.
- Functions as the bridge between the user community and the developer team members who create reports.
- Assisting business users, project managers and technical team in optimizing the scope, benefits and risks of proposed projects; help manage expectations of users and management.
- Work closely with vendor in preparing the Business Requirement Specification (BRS), Proof of Concept (POC), data mapping etc.

**Salary**: RM6,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
