Ambulance Driver

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Drive the ambulance safely and efficiently according to road safety rules and medical urgency.
- Transport patients to hospitals, clinics, or other healthcare facilities as assigned.
- Assist medical personnel in moving patients on stretchers or wheelchairs.
- Ensure ambulance equipment (oxygen tank, stretcher, emergency lights, etc.) is functional and available.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the vehicle at all times.
- Perform daily checks of the ambulance (fuel, oil, tires, siren, medical supplies).
- Complete vehicle logbooks, trip sheets, and incident reports accurately.
- Support paramedics or medical assistants during emergency response, when needed.
- Adhere to infection control and patient confidentiality policies.
- Respond calmly and swiftly to urgent and non-urgent transport calls.

**Requirements**:

- **Minimum Education**: SPM or equivalent.
- **License**: Valid driving license (Class D or E depending on vehicle type) & GDL license; PSV license is an added advantage.
- **Experience**: At least 1-2 years of experience in driving emergency or commercial vehicles preferred.
- Physically fit with ability to lift and move patients safely.
- Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and act quickly during emergencies.
- Willingness to work on rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certified Emergency Vehicle Operator (EVO) training or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Familiarity with first-aid procedures.
- Prior experience working with ambulance services or emergency response teams.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
