Job Description:
1. To carry out all experiments in laboratory, visual inspection, odour test, etc. on incoming raw materials, WIP and products with the objective of checking its quality and conformance to specification.

2. General Preparation of chemicals and equipment’s for analysis.

3. To compile and update recording of all results clearly, timely and properly for easier reference when requested. Circular the test results to relevant personnel, if necessary.

4.To highlight immediately to relevant personnel on any non-conformance of specification or abnormalities for corrective actions.

5. To maintain cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness of the laboratory.

6. To keep track on chemical stock and glassware and highlight to superior to prevent event of inadequacy.

7. To obey safety rules in laboratory to avoid occurrence of accidents.

8.To assists in training of new Lab Assistant.

9. Upkeep documentation and laboratory equipment.

10.To perform the job function of quality inspector when instructed by superior.

Job Requirement:
1.Able to speak and write in Malay and English
2. Able to work independently with mínimal supervision
3. Basic knowledge on computer usage
4. Diploma in Food Science/Technology/ Related course
