Aircond Technician

**Job Summary**:
The Aircond Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing air conditioning and refrigeration systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Installation**:

- Install new air conditioning units and systems (split unit, VRV/VRF, centralized systems, etc.)
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturer’s instructions
- Install refrigerant lines, ductwork, electrical connections, and control systems

**Maintenance**:

- Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC systems
- Clean condenser coils, evaporator coils, and filters
- Check refrigerant levels and recharge systems as needed
- Inspect and calibrate thermostats and control systems

**Repair**:

- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning systems
- Repair or replace defective parts (compressors, motors, sensors, etc.)
- Leak test and repair refrigerant leaks
- Restore units to optimal performance

**Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
- Prepare service reports and communicate findings to supervisors or clients
- Recommend upgrades or replacements when necessary

**Safety & Compliance**:

- Follow all safety guidelines and environmental regulations
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of refrigerants and chemicals
- Adhere to occupational health and safety standards

**Requirements**:

- **Education**: Certificate or Diploma in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, or related field
- **Experience**: 1-3 years (or more) in HVAC installation/maintenance preferred. Fresh graduates are most welcome.
- **Certifications**: Handling refrigerants (CIDB, JKKP, NIOSH or equivalent local certifications)
- **Skills**:

- Strong problem-solving and technical skills
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Physically fit and able to work in various environments (heights, confined spaces)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,700.00 per month

- Nilai (71800): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
