**MARINE CONSTRUCTION APPRENTICE - FOR CHINESE MALAYSIAN TO WORK IN SINGAPORE**

**Location**: Singapore

**Salary Range**: SGD $1,800 - SGD $2,000 (monthly)

**JOB PURPOSE & REPORTING**

The **Marine Construction Apprentice will support the Site Supervisor and Project Manager in overseeing daily marina construction operations**. This role involves assisting in supervision, coordinating site activities, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting logístical planning. The apprentice is essential in ensuring smooth operations and quality project delivery.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Assist** supervisor in **daily construction works**: Piling, decking, pontoons, breakwaters, utility installation, and dock construction.
- Monitor **progress**to ensure adherence to **project schedules**, specifications, and safety standards.
- **Coordinate** with **subcontractors**, suppliers, and crew for timely **delivery** of materials and equipment.
- Support **toolbox** **talks**, **safety** **briefings**, and **site** **inductions**.
- Prepare daily **site activity** and progress **reports**.
- Assist in **site housekeeping**, material storage, and proper use of tools/equipment.
- Ensure **compliance** with **statutory** and company requirements.

**SKILLS REQUIRED**
- **GCE “N” Level** or equivalent (similar to **PMR/SPM/STPM**).
- Strong balance and **hand-eye coordination**.
- **Team player** with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Basic written and spoken **English** comprehension.

**CAREER PROGRESSION**
- Potential **advancement to Site Supervisor** role based on performance and leadership ability.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Site-based role with **exposure to marine and coastal** environments.
- May require **extended hours**, **weekend**, or **night shifts** depending on project timelines.
- Must comply with all **safety**, **PPE**, and environmental protection measures.
