Creates/develop technical detail drawings from architects' sketches and specifications incorporate exact measurements, calculations, building codes, and other construction details.
- Draw maps, diagrams, and profiles, using cross-sections and surveys, to represent elevations, topographical contours, subsurface formations, and structures.
- Review and prepare rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data.
- Coordinate the end-to-end project costing process which includes the preparation of cost analysis, quotation, or tender price for new projects.
- Lead a team in the specialized area of contractual and costing matters.
- Administer and prepare all contractual correspondences.
- Analyze and evaluate the risks of tender conditions on contractual and costing matters.
- Assist in the daily drafting work such as preparation of submission drawings and cut list.
- Attend to client / consultant / site meeting related to drawing preparation.
- Maintain and manage an efficient system for drawing control & details development.
- Coordinate with different disciplines in a project.
- Estimate man-hours needed for design asks and deliverables.
- Implements and ensure all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the ISO 9001 & ISO 45001 standards.
- Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by the management.
- Independent and organized, with positive work attitude
- Familiar with steelwork and reinforced concrete design codes.
- Willing to work beyond regular hours to meet deadlines.
- Experience in overseas projects in collaboration with international firms will be an added advantage.
- Competence in structural steelwork and reinforced concrete analysis and design.
- Knowledgeable in balustrade and steel structure and all metal works.
- Good knowledge in using structural analysis, design and detailing software e.g. Revit, Auto-CAD, Solid work & Blue Beam or equivalent
Job Requirements:

- Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in building construction as main contractor would be an added advantage.
- Able to lead and work with minimum supervision.
- Possess good people management skills and able to lead a team.
- Possess good communication and writing skills.
- Well versed in contract types in construction industry.
- Well verse in both verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Possess own transport and willing to travel
- Registered Professional Engineer with BEM will be an added advantage.
- Non-Smoker

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
