**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a seasoned **Jamstack Developer** with deep expertise in Hugo, DecapCMS, and Vercel to architect, build, and optimize a highly performant, secure, and scalable static website. This role demands advanced knowledge of modern web development practices, continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), and proactive optimization of global CDN strategies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Architect, build, and optimize robust static sites using Hugo, ensuring high performance and maintainability.
- Implement and maintain a Git-based content workflow through Decap CMS (Netlify CMS), ensuring seamless collaboration between technical and non-technical teams.
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, ensuring seamless and automated deployments to Vercel.
- Optimize Vercel deployments, managing custom domain configurations, cache strategies, and CDN performance globally.
- Integrate, maintain, and troubleshoot third-party services, including Formspree, VideoAsk, and Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
- Proactively monitor and enhance website security, SEO practices, accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1 AA), and site scalability.
- Provide technical guidance and best practice recommendations for ongoing and future feature integrations (e.g., serverless functions).

**Required Qualifications**:

- Extensive experience with Hugo, including complex layouts, templating, asset pipelines (fingerprinting, minification), and caching strategies.
- Proven expertise with TailwindCSS, ensuring clean, responsive, accessible, and performant UI implementations.
- Demonstrable expertise with Git-based CMS workflows, particularly DecapCMS (formerly Netlify CMS), including setup, OAuth authentication, and customization.
- Advanced skills in GitHub repository management, including workflows, pull requests, branching strategies, and collaborative coding practices.
- Strong understanding of frontend web performance optimization, including asset minification, fingerprinting, image optimization, and CDN caching techniques.
- Deep understanding of HTML5 and CSS best practices, with a strong emphasis on performance, accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA), and responsive design.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and services securely, with knowledge of performance optimization and asynchronous loading strategies.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Familiarity with advanced serverless functions on Vercel for future site expansion.
- Proven experience implementing structured data, advanced SEO strategies, and web accessibility best practices.
- Experience in JavaScript-based client-side integrations and performance monitoring tools (e.g., Lighthouse, WebPageTest).
- Proactive approach in troubleshooting, analytics interpretation, and continuous improvement of the user experience.
