Executive, Field Technician

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned.
- Provides highly customer support through the performance of on-site as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, installation, and repair of equipment during the maintenance services.
- Conducting safety checks and inspections to ensure systems are working efficiently and meet safety standards.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, identifying and resolving faults and defects.
- Installing, maintaining and repairing gas systems, including pipelines, valves, gas meters, gas appliances, gauges. and other peripherals when required.
- Inspection and testing for replacing defective equipment.
- To carry out preventive maintenance service on schedules without failure.
- To update and record on spare parts requisition database.
- Analyze and identify cylinder gas problem through daily routine checking and preventive maintenance record inclusive in finding best possible solution.
- Ensure all equipment or tools are always being safeguarded in good order and condition.
- Input data about customer’s gas usage into a meter reading tracking list or tablet device using database software, and details from the location’s gas utility meter.
- Operate a company vehicle to travel in the local region, and visit each customer’s premises or business on the meter reading list each day.
- Assess each gas utility meter during the monthly/daily visit to ensure the device is working properly and free of mechanical or electrical defects.
- Greet customers at their premises or places of business when the gas meter is not accessible from the outside, and schedule a gas meter reading when necessary.
- Provide new gas activation services to new customers by connecting the meter to the utility company’s network and disconnecting service when required.
- Report inoperable and malfunctioning devices or unauthorized changes to the gas meter to Head of Department (HOD) when spotted during field checks.
- Liaise with maintenance team for troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, servicing, breakdowns, repairing tasks to the gas utility meter when required by the customer and the company.
- Log all details of each work such as addresses visited, gas meters checked including gas equipment, gas leakage or damage, breakdowns, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, servicing, repairing, and any other incidents into tracking meter reading list or uploaded into the tablet device each day.
- Perform other related duties as required.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- At least a minimum Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in engineering/Facilities Management/Building Management or equivalent.
- Possess any professional Industrial certificates / Diploma from technical institution in any related field or equivalent will be an added advantage.
- Entry Level specialized in Engineering e.g., Instrumentation, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent are encouraged to apply.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant facility management experiences or equivalent. Proven work experience as a Meter Reader or similar role. (**Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)**.
- Required Skill(s): PC literate and proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (will be an added advantage).
- A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills would be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently.
- Able to travel as and when required.
- Possess own transport.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
