Housekeeping Supervisor

Ensure cleanliness in all areas of the hotel. Checking all room and public areas daily using checklist given.
- Assign and follow up with Housekeeping Attendant on daily duties, assignments and log entries.
- Responsible in compilation of duty roster, ensure daily record and current system are accurate.
- Plan work schedules according to forecast and functions.
- Schedule out monthly projects for room, public areas and laundry. This is to be communicated to and follow up with Housekeeping Attendant.
- Ensure standard procedures for key control are followed.
- Assist in developing and maintaining an active job training programme in all sections.
- Monitor productivity to ensure all staff are meeting the required standards of performance.
- To coach, counsel and discipline staff if necessary. To lead and motivate staff, promoting excellence, teamwork and high morale.
- Hold regular communication meetings with housekeeping staffs and ensure guest satisfactions are achieved.
- Ensure all operational standards are followed and maintained.
- Respond promptly to guest complaints request or enquiries immediately.
- Maintain communication lines with Engineering regarding room defects and Front Office on room status.
- Carry out quality control test of working processes, surveys to improve efficiency, reduce cost and produce better service to hotel and guest when required.
- Maximize productivity without increasing cost and control overtime.
- Monitor on machinery maintenance and equipment’s issued to staff.
- Ensure adequate requisitions and control usage of all chemicals and supplies of all sections.
- Avoid wastage, assist in controlling of cost.
- Compile monthly inventory according to housekeeping schedule.
- Maintain accurate records as inventory par stock, for all operating supplies, machinery and linen.
- Ensure all policies and procedures are followed by staff.
- Attend trainings and meetings when directed by the superior.
- To carry out other duties as directed by the superior.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
