We're a software development team. But we also build Shopify stores on the side : )

Our solutions scale across multiple countries, industries, and regions. Generally, we help online stores around the world level up their customer experience. Currently, we're building a platform to combat COVID-19 and we need you to join us and make a difference.

**You will help build**:

- beautiful responsive and interactive web frontends
- set up scalable server architectures on the cloud
- publish and maintain web/mobile apps
**What you'll be responsible for**:

- Communicating effectively with everyone.
- Testing all your work, to ensure project specifications are met.
- Organizing your work properly using tools such as GitHub and Notion.
- Writing software documentation and reports where required.
- Maintaining an understanding of the latest web development practices.
- Identifying problems uncovered by customer feedback. Then bug-fixing or referring problems to appropriate personnel for correction.
- Employ critical thinking skills in problem-solving.
**What you're expected to have**:

- A passion for new technologies and the software development space as a whole.
- A keen learner that can adapt quickly and think critically.
- A product-minded attitude with an interest in doing your best for the end-user.
- Familiarity with web frontend stacks (i.e. HTML, CSS, JS, Liquid, Twig, React, Vue)
- Familiarity with web backend stacks (i.e. NodeJS, PHP, Python)
- Familiarity with databases (i.e. MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB)
- Familiarity with server stacks (i.e. Linux, Shell, Nginx, Apache, SSL)
**Bonus points if you**:

- Have experience with Alibaba Cloud, AWS, Digital Ocean.
- Have experience with OpenCV, AI, WebXR, Websocket, APIs.
- Have experience building Blockchain solutions.
**Who will you be working with**:
Hey there, I'm Chris and the Founder of Coreka. I run the team here and right now we're really lean - there are less than 5 of us working full-time and about 6+ ex-team members that we work with on contract.

I'm a product designer + full-stack developer so I code and also mentor anyone that joins us. Given our lean size, I also handle sales, project management, and the financials of the company. If you're keen on learning some of those skills, I could give you a hand in the basics.

Our focus right now is to alleviate screening and cross-border issues relating to COVID-19. If that resonates with you, I'd love for you to consider joining us and being a part of our journey.
